Radisson Blue Sopot

Radisson blu hotel in sopot has the largest hotel conference center in the tri-city. Surrounded by greenery, the atrium and foyer offer over 1000 sq m of space. The hotel is able to give its clients exceptional flexibility and freedom in choosing the space for an event of any size, from a meeting for several people to an event for several hundred people...

The largest conference space in the Tri-City at the Radisson Blu Sopot hotel can be divided into several parts, depending on your needs.

Each of the three main rooms is equipped with a Panasonic VZ 580 projector and an Adeo screen of a size suitable for the room. The large atrium space can be divided into three independent zones or combined in any way you like, creating together with the foyer a room able to accommodate up to 1000 guests. The wide range of seating possibilities for training or conference guests meant that many points had to be designated as connections to the AV system.

The hotel is equipped with LG SuperSign information system, so guests always know which room they should go to.

The Panasonic PT-MZ770 projector with a laser light source displays an image with a brightness of 8,000 lumens on a screen 5 meters wide.

A wall control panel is available in each room of the conference center, giving the possibility to control all elements of the AV system. Each of the three rooms is equipped with a Panasonic VZ 580 projector displaying an image on Adeo Elegance screens with a working area of 390 x 243 cm. In a scenario where all the rooms work together, these sets repeat the image displayed by the Panasonic PT-MZ770 projector displaying an image on the Adeo Max One screen as wide as 5 meters. The conference organiser can also use LG monitors on Edbak carts, which can be placed anywhere in each room - the signal to the monitors is also fed through the AV-over-IP.

The flexible layout of the room means not only that tables and chairs can be orientated in any way you like, but also that you can connect to the AV system at any location. Usually the displayed presentations are accompanied by sound. The AV system is equipped with Sennheiser handheld wireless microphones.

The conference center sound system uses Sonance ceiling-mounted speakers and JBL Control pendant speakers. This equipment has both analog inputs and outputs, but is also capable of sending BLU link audio to compatible devices like Crown amplifiers. The conference room's vaulted ceiling required different types of speakers. Naturally, the quality of the reproduced sound was at the forefront, but the aesthetics of the devices were also extremely important. Where possible, we chose Sonance recessed speakers, while where the ceiling is significantly higher, even sound coverage is provided by JBL Control pendant speakers. The Nyquista company took care of the acoustics and good speech intelligibility.

The Radisson Blu hotel, apart from a huge conference space, has also smaller rooms. One of them is located on the same level as the conference center, the others were placed on the first floor. All rooms, and there are five in total, are equipped with LG monitors mounted on Edbak cart. An interesting idea is the hybrid use of part of the restaurant room. By closing the movable wall, it is possible to separate it from the restaurant and turn it into two small, private event rooms. The AV-over-IP network connections described earlier are also available in this part of the facility, so guests can attend an event taking place in the conference center while relaxing in a slightly more intimate setting.

The entire restaurant is equipped with a background music system, with JBL speakers installed in the ceiling and AtteroTech audio connections available in selected areas of the restaurant that can be converted into separate rooms.

Audio and video signals converge in the server room fed by Cat.6a twisted pair cable. They offer Bluetooth and analog audio input. Their main purpose is to enable guests to play their own music, for example from their phones, during special events organized in the restaurant of the hotel.

When guests are swimming in the pool or relaxing in the Jacuzzi, they can enjoy music played from JBL wall-mounted speakers. Each of the twelve SPA rooms, in turn, has JBL speakers and wall-mounted players, offering the possibility of connecting audio sources wirelessly or via a traditional audio cable.

In addition to the pool and SPA, the system is also available in the saunas, elevators and corridors leading to the rooms. iPad control panels, in iPort Luxeport enclosures, are available for use by hotel staff. These panels allow for the management of sound in these spaces. As a supplement, the sound played from JBL loudspeakers in the corridors can be controlled from small controllers located in technical rooms on each floor.

The hotel is equipped with LG SuperSign information system. There is a server in the server room, which is remotely accessed by selected employees responsible for the content displayed.

System operators can edit information system content, create calendars according to which content will be changed automatically, and monitor the status of displays. In front of each room there are LG monitors with a built-in SuperSign player, and on level -1 and on the first floor there are information totems with LG monitors. The purpose of the 55-inch monitors is to present a collective agenda of all events currently taking place at the hotel.

Naturally, the SuperSign system also offers presentation of the hotel's own information or advertising content, thanks to which the hotel has an additional channel of communication with its guests. Built and opened in mid-June 2020, Radisson Blu Hotel in Sopot is an extraordinary place. The audiovisual equipment fits perfectly into the philosophy of providing guests with the highest level of service.

It is definitely worth considering this place when looking for a location to organize an event of any size, not only because of the capabilities of the audiovisual system created by Brill AV Media, but also, and perhaps especially, because of the interesting architecture of the interior and the very picturesque surroundings.
