Example applications of our Gerriets 7-layer sound-absorbing curtains:

• separating conference/workshop zones conducted in a single exhibition hall or conference room, which allows to simultaneously hold several meetings next to each other;
• acoustic adaptation of existing rooms, e.g. enhancing the acoustic features for a concert;
• increasing the acoustic safety during meetings, e.g. during political, international or corporate conferences;
• creating chill-out/VIP zones at conferences or fairs, etc.;

Specification:

• compliant with the European DIN EN 13501-1 (2010-01) standard;
• sound emission reduction in accordance with the certificate up to 16 dB;
• standard external and internal layers made of a permanently fire-resistant, washable, sound-absorbing and odorless material.

For example, the curtains were used during the NATO summit 2016 as an additional acoustic insulation of the meeting spaces; during the European Congress of Psychiatry, where four meeting rooms were covered with the curtains additionally enclosed in the Octanorm system; and during our “Concert Technique” workshops, where they constituted an exhibition VIP zone separated in the middle of the workshop and concert hall.
